The ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø is proud to co-own four journals. Gut is one of the world’s highest-ranked gastroenterology journals, by citation-related impact factor, and the Society’s oldest title. Frontline Gastroenterology focuses on clinical aspects of gastroenterology. Open Gastroenterology is an online-only, peer-reviewed, open access gastroenterology journal. The newest addition to the portfolio is Gut Science, an open-access journal closely associated to Gut and dedicated to the fundamental basic science of gastroenterology and hepatology.

Gut is a leading international peer-reviewed journal in gastroenterology and hepatology, with an established reputation for publishing first class clinical research of the alimentary tract, liver, biliary tree and pancreas. Gut has an impact factor of 26.2, ranking 4th in the JCR Gastroenterology & Hepatology category. It has a CiteScore of 46.7, ranking 3rd in the Gastroenterology category.
Gut Science is a new open-access journal closely associated to Gut, dedicated to the fundamental basic science of gastroenterology and hepatology. The journal will be publishing cutting-edge research and reviews on molecular mechanisms, physiology, and pathophysiology. By fostering foundational experimental research, Gut Science will drive collaboration and accelerate innovative diagnostics, therapeutics, and personalised medicine. Corresponding authors who are ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø members receive a 30% discount on the APC, and ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø trainee members receive a 50% discount.
Frontline Gastroenterology (FG) aims to accelerate the adoption of best practice in the fields of gastroenterology and hepatology. It is multidisciplinary and focuses on the needs of patients and the professionals caring for them. FG has a Journal Impact Factor (JIF) of 3.3 and a CiteScore of 5. FG is a subscription journal, but there is a 50% discount on the APC for articles where the corresponding author is a ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø member.
Open Gastroenterology (BMJOG) is an online-only, peer-reviewed, open access gastroenterology journal, dedicated to publishing high-quality medical research from all disciplines and therapeutic areas of gastroenterology and hepatology. BMJOG has a Journal Impact Factor (JIF) of 2.9 and a CiteScore of 5.8. There is a 30% APC discount for articles where the corresponding author is a ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø member, or a 50% discount where the corresponding author is a ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø trainee member.
