ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø

The ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Trainees Committee is delighted to invite trainee, IMT, foundation, and undergraduate members to apply for 1 of 10 bursaries to attend the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Trainees Taster Course.

Applications open on Thursday 14th August 2025 and close at 5pm on Monday 22nd September 2025. 

The Taster Course bursary is for attending the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Trainees Taster Course which will be taking place at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals on 22nd - 23rd November 2025.

Terms & Conditions

• Each bursary of up to £370 is funded by the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø and is intended to reimburse the costs of registration, travel and/or accommodation. Other costs (meals, visas etc.) will not be supported.
• Bursaries are for ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø members only and you must be a member for at least 1 month at the time of applying for a bursary. This information will be verified after you submit your application. Applicants who do not meet this criteria will not have their bursary application reviewed.
• Bursaries will be paid after the Taster Course and on submission of your expense claim and a brief report outlining: what you felt was most valuable about attending the event, what you enjoyed the most, and how attending the course will impact your training. This report will be uploaded to the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø website and used for future marketing purposes. Reports should be emailed to [email protected].
• Expense claims must be submitted within 4 weeks of having attended the course.
• Claims submitted without relevant receipts will not be reimbursed.
• Successful applicants must register their ticket for the course and claim this on expenses along with their travel/accommodation expenses.
• Applications must be completed using the form linked below. No other method of application will be considered.

Please note you can only apply for one bursary. There are a limited number of bursaries available and we regret that we cannot offer a bursary to all who apply.

You will be informed of the outcome of your application by the first week of October 2025 along with details on how to submit your expenses claim after the Taster Course.

Please do not apply for a bursary if you do not have an active membership.
